Call for Founding Directors for PKU Alumni Association in San Diego Dear Alumni, As the number of alumni grows in San Diego, it is time to establish a formal alumni organization in America's finest city to better serve our alumni. The proposed PKU alumni association will be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It will have better financial resources and human resources to provide a rich variety of services to our alumni. The preparation work for this alumni association has begun since President Xu Zhihong's visit last year. The next step of establishing a formal PKU alumni association is to assemble a board. A meeting will be held March 30 11:30AM at Eda Mami (2282 Carmel Valley Rd, between Via Borgia & Via Cortina, Del Mar, CA 92014, (858) 755-4777 ) to generate the founding board members. Cost will be around $15 per participants for lunch. Because this is the founding board, we expect the founding board members to be actively involved in the operation of alumni association.
