Goodbye for Now
On Saturday July 31, the SDCAA Board of the Directors gathered at the home of its President, Hua Jin to say goodbye to its founding members, Frank and Linda Liu who are moving to San Francisco to be close to their children. They came to San Diego in 1979 and founded the Association which became the SDCAA today. On behalf of the SDCAA BOD, Dr. Jin expressed deep gratitude for Linda and Frank’s contribution to SDCAA and the Chinese community in San Diego and presented them with a small gift to remember their friends at SDCAA.
SDCAA will also miss its past President and Director, Dr. Feng Tian, who has moved to Virginia to pursue a new career. Dr. Tian has been instrumental in the SDCAA operations and the successful promotion and organization of many SDCAA and community events; he has been the voice of SDCAA for the past several years. We wish him well in his new venture.
SDCAA is always looking for new volunteers. Let us know if you wish to be a part of this important organization.
